With added peace of mind that if you were to contract Covid-19 within 14 days of your trip starting, your holiday will be protected. If you choose a short UK getaway or a city break in Europe or an even longer stay travelling around the world we have a policy for you.
Not only does our Covid-19 travel insurance cover you for cancellation, if you fall ill with Covid-19 during your trip and you have to return early you are covered. Medical expenses including costs to treat Covid-19 while you are away on your trip are also covered.
From the 10th September 2020, Blue Bear customers can now purchase enhanced Covid-19 cover on our all of our products (Gold, Silver and Bronze). We cover you for cancellation of your trip if you or anyone named on your policy tests positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of your trip starting.
To further improve our Covid-19 Cover, from 1st June 2021, Blue Bear customers will also benefit from self-isolation cover. I.e., Cancelation Cover if you need to self-isolate as a result of Track and Trace notification. Denied Boarding cover has also been extended to apply to outward journeys.
